Idaho Home to One of The Safest Places in the Country
Safety is one of the most important things in life. Nobody wants to live life feeling like they are in danger, or being scared every moment of every day. One of the biggest aspects when it comes to living life relaxed and feeling safe is based on where you decide to call home. Sometimes it can be the neighborhood you live in, sometimes it can be the city you live in, and other times it can be the state or country you live in. Different factors determine if somebody feels safe or in danger. There is one city in Idaho that is considered one of the safest in the country, and living there could put your mind at ease and feel in less danger than other places in the country.
The Safest and Most Dangerous Cities
A list was recently released by WalletHub ranking the safest and most dangerous cities in the country, and did so using categories such as home and community safety, natural disaster risk, and financial safety. Using these criteria, it was determined that the safest city in the entire country is South Burlington, Vermont, with Casper, Wyoming being the second safest, and Warwick, Rhode Island rounding out the top three. The most dangerous city, out of 182 cities ranked, is Memphis, Tennessee, with Detroit, Michigan being the second most dangerous, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida rounding out the three least safe cities.
What is the Safest City in Idaho?
Idaho has one city that ranks highly on the list and comes in as one of the safest cities in the entire country. Boise comes in on the list as the fifth safest city in the United States. Boise is 26 in home and community safety, 46 in natural disaster risk, and 19 in financial safety. Boise has the fewest traffic fatalities per capita, also working in its favor as being a safe city. While many in Idaho may feel Boise has become more dangerous in recent years, this list says otherwise.

The next time you feel unsafe living in Idaho, relax and realize that Idaho is home to one of the safest places to live in the entire country. As odd as it sounds, you may want to leave where you live and move to the city to feel more safe. To see the full study broken down, make sure to click on the link in the second paragraph above.
