If You’ve Ever Received Care From This Seattle Hospital, Talk To Your Doctor

In the Magic Valley, we have a lot of residents that moved here from Washington state. That's why we're passing along word that if you received care from Seattle's Northwest Hospital in the past few years, you might want to consult with your doctor.

USA Today is reporting that over 1,300 patients who received care in early 2012 may have been exposed to HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C. There is a surgical tech who was charged in federal court with switching syringes.

If by some chance you did cross paths with this hospital in recent years, no reason to panic. Officials are apparently contacting past patients as a precaution.
