NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — Canyon County officials say a worker at a cheese manufacturing plant in Nampa has died after getting pinned by a forklift.

According to the sheriff's office, the employee died at the hospital after being freed from between a rack and a forklift at the Lactalis factory on Thursday. The name of the employee has not been released.

Canyon County spokesman Joe Decker says the incident is being treated as an industrial accident. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will likely investigate.
