STANLEY, Idaho – A 30-mile section of Idaho 75 is closed due to increased avalanche activity through the corridor. The roadway is closed to all traffic between Lower Stanley and the Yankee Fork Ranger Station.

The addition of snow, rain and warming temperatures has made the snowpack unstable resulting in several slides in the last 24 hours. The road is expected to remain closed until Saturday morning when cooler temperatures will stabalize the snow conditions.

Updates will be available at 511.idaho.gov as conditions change. You are encouraged to visit the site or the download the mobile 511 app to ensure you receive timely updates about road conditions on any state route across Idaho.
