Everyone I know has been directly effected by cancer. I have seen friends lose sisters, Uncles, Grandparents, and more. I think death teaches us a lot about who we are and what life really means to us.

While loosing someone from old age seems natural, cancer seems so ridged. Cancer robs us of something that can't be replaced... our loved ones. I feel that cancer doesn't care who you are. It doesn't care if you have taken extremely good care of yourself, if you are young, if you are old and frail. It doesn't care! It can take over your life at anytime. It can even take over your children's life.

The only way I know how to cope with cancer is to talk about it. So tell us how cancer has effected you in the comments below and become a Partner in Hope to help St. Jude.
