Giant Discount Clothing Store Closing 13 Stores in ID, WA, UT

Forever 21 Closing All U.S. Stores, Including Locations in Idaho, Washington, and Utah

The popular discount clothing retailer Forever 21 is shutting down all of its 350 U.S. locations following a bankruptcy filing earlier this month.

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, the bankruptcy filing and closings are a result of ongoing financial struggles. Rising inflation and growing competition from e-commerce have been cited as key factors in the company’s decision to shutter the U.S. market entirely. Stores outside the U.S. will remain open.

Going-Out-of-Business Sales Underway

Going-out-of-business sales are underway at all U.S. Forever 21 stores, including several in the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West.

Gift Cards: Use 'em or Lose 'em

Forever 21 hasn't yet announced closing dates for their stores and will remain open until those dates are announced. Gift cards will be accepted through April 15, 2025.
