We always  hear about the dangers of texting while driving but we never hear much about some of the other distractions that are just as bad, if not worse than texting.

According to a new study, daydreaming and driving is five times more dangerous than texting while driving.  About 10% of the fatal car crashes in the U.S. in the past two years were caused by a distracted driving.  Of those, 62% were a result of a driver who was daydreaming.  Only 12% were because of a phone.

Now this isn't an excuse to start texting while driving. It's just worth noting that there are other distractions out there, including texting that distract us from the task at hand.
