UPDATE 11:20 A.M.:

On Thursday, February 23, 2017, at approximately 4:49 am, Idaho State Police investigated a two commercial vehicle crash on Interstate 84 at milepost 142, near Bliss.  Ronik Hartonia, 60 years old, of Glendale, California, was driving eastbound in a 2009 Freightliner hauling a box trailer. Angel Ponce, 49 years old, of Los Angeles, California, was driving eastbound in a 2014 Kenworth. Hartonia's vehicle jackknifed in the lane of travel and Ponce's vehicle struck Hartonia's vehicle causing the eastbound lanes to be blocked. Hartonia and Ponce were both wearing seatbelts.  The lanes were blocked for approximately three hours as crews cleared the scene.

UPDATE 10 A.M.: The crash has since been cleared. Motorist should use caution with any roadways still reporting snow on them.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) A semi crash is blocking parts of Interstate 84 near Bliss this morning. According to the Idaho Transportation Department 511 website:

CURRENT DELAYS ON I-84: Today at 8:12 AM, Google reported a 78 minute delay eastbound. Between Exit 141: I-84B and Exit 147: 2350 South Road (1 mile east of the Bliss area). The road is blocked. There is a crash involving a semi trailer. Expect delays.Comment: I-84 milepost 142, 1 mile east of the Bliss area.
