Christmas in the Nighttime Sky to be held November 29
Christmas in the Nighttime Sky will be held once again this year in the Magic Valley community. The event, which is sponsored by Townsquare Media's Kool 96.5, Kimberly Nurseries, Coca Cola, KMVT, Hub International, Idaho Central Credit Union, Snake Harley-Davidson, and Watertech, will be held November 29, 2019, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at Kimberly Nurseries.
Everyone who comes to the event is asked to bring a new unwrapped toy for a boy or girl 16 years of age or younger for admission into Kimberly Nurseries on Addison Avenue in Twin Falls.
The toys donated to the event will go to less fortunate kids in the Magic Valley who might not otherwise get a Christmas or holiday season this year.
In exchange for bringing a toy, you'll get a free chili and potato dinner, along with access to holiday festivities, live entertainment, and fireworks set to holiday music.
Free buses will be running from the Kmart/Grocery Outlet parking lot to Kimberly Nurseries starting at 5:30 p.m. The last chance to get on a bus headed to Kimberly Nurseries will be 7 p.m., as fireworks are set to start at 7:30 p.m. After the event buses will be shuttling people back to their vehicles in the parking lot.
To get an idea of what the fireworks are like, you can find a video from 2016 below.
