‘Bachelorette’ Ali Fedotowsky in No Hurry to Marry Roberto Martinez

On the sixth season of ‘The Bachelorette,’ Roberto Martinez won the heart of Ali Fedotowsky and proposed to her during the finale. But with no wedding in the year since, and given the dismal success record of relationships borne from the ‘Bachelor’ franchise, many have been wondering if the couple has split.

Not so, Fedotowsky says.

“We’re still engaged; we’re still living together. We just don’t feel the need to walk down the aisle right now,” she said, adding, “We didn’t meet in the most traditional way — we had a very short courtship and we only knew each other nine weeks before we got engaged.”

The couple had planned to tie the knot in August but the nuptials were scrapped when Fedotowsky, 27, had to have knee surgery. But that doesn’t mean there’s trouble in paradise.

“We’re happy where we are,” Fedotowsky says. “When we have things figured out, we’ll let you know.”
