BOISE, Idaho (KTVB) -- The 8,000-acre Little Queens Fire burning northwest of Atlanta has been very active Tuesday night. Dave Olson with the Boise National Forest says the fire has moved towards Atlanta and is around 2 to 3 miles away.

Olson also says Elmore County made the decision to go from a voluntary pre-evacuation make to a mandatory evacuation order Tuesday night.  He goes on to say that Wednesday's forecast could bring winds from the south, which would push the fire away from Atlanta, but that could change with the thunderstorms that are expected to be in the area
