Have Fun At These 7 Events this Father’s Day Weekend in the Magic Valley

The weeks continue to go by, and another weekend is upon us. It seems like the other day was Mother's Day weekend, and now it is time for dads to have theirs. While golf courses will be packed, grills will be surrounded by hungry friends and family members, there will also be plenty of events happening around the Magic Valley this weekend. Deciding what to do with Dad on Father's Day weekend can be tough, but here are some events to consider and to help make the weekend more fun.

Thursday, June 13 Through Sunday, June 16 - 'Treasure Island'

If you want to take your dad to a show to do something fun, there is one happening this weekend that he may enjoy. 'Treasure Island' will be performed this weekend at the Orpheum Theatre and makes for a great way to get out of the house, have some fun entertainment, and spend time with your dad. The show will be performed Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with showtimes at 7 pm each night, except on Sunday, when the show will be at 2 PM. Tickets start as low as $17.50. Friday, June 14 Through Sunday, June 16 - Magic Valley Parade of Homes

If you enjoy looking at fancy homes, then you will enjoy the Twin Falls Parade of Homes happening this weekend. It takes place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday, June 14 - Father's Day Mom & Me

Is your child struggling with what to get Dad for Father's Day this year? How about attending Father's Day Mom and Me this Friday, taking place at Pro Image Sports in the Magic Valley Mall? The event is free and takes place at 7 PM. Your child can make a football helmet keychain to surprise Dad with on Father's Day. Saturday, June 16 - Market on Main

It is finally back. Market on Main returns this Saturday, and will be happening on Main in downtown Twin Falls from 9 AM to 2 PM. The market features over 55 different makers, foods, and local goods. Saturday, June 15 - Butterfly Release Memorial Event

Have you lost a loved one in the last year? Perhaps someone you have lost in the past and still miss every day. If so, this weekend is a great way to remember them and honor them with the annual Butterfly Release Memorial Event happening this Saturday at Orton Botanical Garden, located at 867 Filer Ave W. Saturday, June 15 - Bags of Baseball Cornhole Tournament

With the weather expected to be beautiful this Saturday, perhaps the best way to spend the day is to get outside and play some cornhole. The Bags for Baseball Cornhole Tournament is happening in Harmon Park, with check-in beginning at 10 AM and the tournament beginning at 11 AM. Sunday, June 16 - Father's Day BBQ and Buffet

Trying to figure out where to take Dad for Father's Day can be a tough decision. While he may choose to want to grill out, many dads like to be pampered and not have to cook. Redhawk in Twin Falls is a place you will want to go, as they will be serving a Father's Day BBQ and Buffet this Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM.
