
North Utah Witness Claims UFO Tapped Into Home Electricity
A witness in northeastern Utah filed an interesting claim recently with an agency that investigates unexplained aerial objects. The witness stated in the report that a low-flying, triangular craft caused security lighting on the property to malfunction.
The National UFO Reporting Center investigates thousands of reports across the United States annually. I've been reading and writing about the agency and its claims for over a decade now, and I've yet to hear of an incident where a craft caused electrical issues to a residential property.
The NUFORC is headquartered in Washington State, and published the report regarding a Layton, Utah, sighting back on July 11, 2026.

Utah Witness Claims July 11 UFO Caused Electrical Issues On Property

In the full report, identified as incident 199372, the solo witness claims a triangular craft with three white lights passed with a soft "whooshing" sound over his/her home. The witness was watering in a garden at approximately 10:30 P.M. on the evening of July 11 when the incident occurred, lasting about one minute, according to the NUFORC.
The craft was described as 'bigger than a jet' in the report.

'My back solar light started growing brighter then dimmed before it glided over my home,' claims the witness in the report to the NUFORC.
Layton, Utah, is 26 miles north of Salt Lake City.
