It's no surprise that the Treasure Valley is growing by leaps and bounds, everywhere we go we see new home developments going up. Commercial buildings are going up all over the place and downtown Boise has a bunch of cranes up in the air as multi-story buildings are popping up all over. The question is "how fast are we growing" according a recent wallethub survey, two Idaho cities made 2020's Fastest Growing Cities In America list. Meridian came in at number 3 and Nampa checks in at #10. Texas is the only other state that has two cities in the top 10. Check out the top 10 list and the WalletHub methodology below.

  • Nampa experienced the highest poverty rate decrease.
  • Nampa is ranked 5th in small cities with highest growth.
  • Meridian was one of the cities tied for highest job growth.
  • Meridian also tied for with highest population growth with 6 other cities of its same size.
  • Meridian placed second in midsize cities with the highest growth.
