The Overwhelming Sadness Of The Boston Marathon

There are several people I know that have run the Boston Marathon so when I heard the news today my heart stopped. For a moment I couldn't hear anything around me and my soul was overwhelmed with sadness. I automatically thought about what an amazing moment it is to finish a race and how equally amazing it is to watch a loved one finish a race. One minute you are cheering on your loved one or waiting for them to cross the finish line and the next minute you are fighting for your life. It makes me sick to my stomach that there are so many EVIL people among us. What is the world coming to and what can we do to stop horrific tragedies like this one from happening?
