Blaine County School District has cancelled all after-school activities for today, and says it will cancel class on Friday due to possible extreme weather.

I'm sure Stanley is a great place to settle down, but I'm not sure I could afford the heating bill.

According to The Weather Channel Stanley, Idaho has seen numerous avalanches in the last few days.

STANLEY, Idaho – A 30-mile section of Idaho 75 is closed due to increased avalanche activity through the corridor. The roadway is closed to all traffic between Lower Stanley and the Yankee Fork Ranger Station.
