A lot of families are dealing with the flu this year. As soon as one child gets over this nasty virus the other child comes down with it. I have heard everything from kids missing an entire week of school to adults breaking out in rashes. According to WPTV.com the Unites States is in the middle of one of its most severe flu seasons in years. The government's CDC website is giving the following tip

If you went shopping last Saturday you will probably do anything to avoid the crowds this weekend. The idea of going shopping this weekend is HORRIBLE.  The crowds are going to be in full force and it's going to get ugly.  So wouldn't it be better to shop when places are WAY emptier . . . like tomorrow morning?

If you haven't heard by now, Kate Middleton is expecting. Overall, I like Kate Middleton so I am excited for her. As a women I feel for her because she just completed her first trimester. All women know that you can be very sick in the first trimester.

It seems like a lot of people are exchanging medicine in their medicine cabinets for essential oils. Pepto Bis-mo is being exchanged for Frankincense and Lemon Oil. Men take the flu harder than women. A new survey from Stuff.co.nz found that 98% of women and 79% of men agree that men demand more sympathy when they have the flu . . . I knew it! Around 75% of people surveyed, including 72% of women, say they believe men's flu symptoms are worse than women's and take longer to recover from.

My poor little boys are sick and while I understand that all kids get sick it is still terrible to watch them be sick. I am positive that they have a 24 to 36 hour bug. A lot of people have been sick in our office this winter, some of them have worked through there sickness and others have been so sick that they haven't been able to come to work. I always try my best to come to work no matter what but if I have the flu I stay in bed...
