Glamping

I instantly felt ashamed in a way when I walked back outside to join my wife at the campfire, but they are handy on occasion.

The weather in southern Idaho appears to be clearing by Friday, and plenty of sunshine is on the way for the following several days. Maybe now is a good time to load up the travel trailer and enjoy a few nights with a chair parked by the fire and a couple of afternoons of rockhounding with family and friends.

The trailers, in my opinion, are the most appealing part of the campground. The site offers several that were built in the sixties and seventies that have been fitted with queen or full-sized beds.

If you are new to Idaho, you may also be new to the popular camping lifestyle that long-time Idahoans enjoy so much. Any time that I don't sleep in my own bed, I consider it camping. Even at a fancy hotel like The Grove, it's camping. The thought of pitching my own tent and sleeping in the great outdoors with lions, tigers, bears, and mosquitos is something that I really have to get used to... Rea
