A writer for a national lifestyle website recently unveiled its 2019 list of must try sandwiches from every state. The sandwich featured from Idaho can be found just 125 miles from Twin Falls, and is one Elvis Presley would have loved.A sandwich made in downtown Boise at the Lemon Tree Co. has been served up on MSN Lifestyle's 2019, "Must Try Sandwiches In Every State" list. I've never eaten at the Lemon Tree Co., but after seeing the terrific menu of divine sandwiches they offer up, I'm going to definately have to pay them a visit next time I find myself in the city.

Idaho's featured sandwich on this list of the nation's best, is called the "PB & JJB," and includes house-made peanut butter, cherry preserves, bacon and roasted jalapeno, a sandwich fit for "The King." The PB & JJB can be ordered vegan style as well, with bacon excluded.

I'm not the biggest fan of peanut butter, unless it comes in a tub of Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup, then I'm all in. The combination of bacon, peanut butter and jalapenos does sound intriguing, but I'd probably opt to go for another menu item at the Lemon Tree Co. The "Carmela" sounds more like my speed. Its got ham, salami, fontina, pesto, jalapeno-dijon aioli, with lettuce and veggies.

Our neighbors to the south, Nevada, have a sandwich found in Reno called the "Dirka Dirka," which is corned beef, pastrami, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard and jalapeno coleslaw. It can be found at the Full Belly Deli.
