Seafood Restaurant To Open 5th U.S. Location Twin Falls ID

A Colorado-based restaurant that specializes in sushi, seafood favorites, weekend brunches, and an impressive assortment of cocktails in a family-friendly atmosphere has chosen Twin Falls to open its fifth location. The new restaurant will take over the old Johnny Carino's location at 1921 Blue Lakes Boulevard North near the In-N-Out in the Canyon Park Center.

Twin Falls newest seafood restaurant, Smokin Fins, is set to open this fall, according to the restaurant's official website. The company operates four other locations in Colorado and southeastern Idaho.

Local maintenance and construction crews could be seen Tuesday morning (August 18) in the parking lot as workers went in and out of the building.

Smokin Fins management officially announced via Meta back in June that they were expanding into the Magic Valley.

'We’ve seen some guesses about what may be coming to this location, so we wanted to pop in and officially introduce ourselves. Smokin Fins is coming to 1921 Blue Lakes Blvd N. this fall, and we’re so excited to be joining the community,' said the update from June 23, 2026.

Judging by some of the responses online to the news, a seafood restaurant will be a most welcome addition to Twin Falls.

'Is it seafood? Lordy Lordy, we sure need that,' said one area resident.
