Sam Hunt Hits the Links and the Water During Summer Tour Break [Watch]
Sam Hunt has been busy on the road on his 2017 15 in a 30 Tour, but has managed to squeeze a little R&R in between tour dates.
Always one to share his sporting adventures, Hunt turned to Instagram to share videos of himself enjoying the great outdoors with a little golfing and fishing. The country singer shows off his golf game in one video, making his best attempt to get the ball out of the sandpit (sadly to no avail.) He also takes fans on an outdoor adventure in Canandaigua, N.Y., where he engages in some fly fishing with his friends. Their fishing skills were on point, with the guys scoring a few catches.
Things get real interesting when Hunt and his pals head out on the water for a boat trip on the lake and a funnel cloud appears ahead, making for some rougher waters. But that clearly just added to the fun, as the guys are laughing while they get splashed by waves and even crack open a beer or two.
Hunt's 15 in a 30 Tour kicked off in June and keeps the singer, and his opening acts Maren Morris, Chris Janson and Ryan Follese, busy all summer long with dates running through Sept. 22, when the tour wraps up at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater. Fans who haven't seen the show yet got a little taste of what it's like when Hunt posted an Instagram video featuring clips from the tour of the high energy crowds, with the singer stating he's having a "blast" so far.
The tour's name comes from a line in Hunt's record-breaking hit, "Body Like a Back Road," which has appeared in the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for a whopping 20 weeks.
