Record Walleye Caught At Oakley Reservoir
Fishing was good Saturday on Oakley Reservoir in Cassia County. A Pocatello man was fishing there and caught a walleye that broke a previous state record. Damon Rush was using a 14 pound test line when he hooked into the 17 pound, 14 oz. walleye. After he got it ashore it measured 34.5 inches. That breaks the previous record held by Mike Chupa of Twin Falls. Chupa caught one two years ago that weights 17 pounds 2 ounces.
