CALDWELL, Idaho (KLIX) A 59 year-old man on a motorcycle is dead after hitting farm equipment Monday afternoon south of Caldwell. Kevin Cherrington, of Nampa, was headed down Riverside Road, west of Lake Lowell, on a Harley Davidson motorcycle at around 4:15 p.m. behind a tractor, driven by John Hall, 23, of Marsing, when he tried to pass. As he tried to pass the tractor turned left in front of him and hit it. Idaho State Police say the Namap man died before he could be taken to the hospital; he was not wearing a helmet. The road was blocked for about three hours.
