Search teams are still spanning a region of central Idaho looking for a hunter who is overdue getting back home. The adult male was thought to be spending time outdoors around the Morgan Creek Recreation Area, approximately 200 miles north of Twin Falls.

Police in Custer County are searching for a hunter named Kelly King, according to details shared on the sheriff department's Meta page. Little information has been shared about King, other than he has not returned from a hunting trip to the region.

Police may have discovered tracks made by the hunter and are currently asking anyone who might be traveling to the Morgan Creek or Gooseberry areas to steer clear of search teams, as they're attempting to keep the trail free from any potential unrelated public impressions.

King was driving a greenish / gray all-terrain vehicle, which police shared a photo of on their social media page on September 22. No information has been released to date on whether or not King's ATV has been located. Again, police are attempting to 'preserve tracks,' so they are asking visitors to avoid areas where active searches are taking place.
