Last year, we learned that mega sporting goods store SCHEELS was opening a location in Idaho, and was planning to open in the Spring of 2024. The sporting goods behemoth is ready to open its doors and is planning a big celebration in Meridian, Idaho this Saturday.

Now, expand that image in your mind's eye, and then double it. Imagine this colossal space transforming into a retail ecosystem, complete with mini-shops, a café, a live aquarium, and even a theme park with an arcade and bowling lanes.

Where is SCHEELS first Idaho store located?

Construction of the new SCHEELS location is complete at 700 S Wayfinder Avenue in Meridian, Idaho. The building is finished and the retailer is stocked and ready for its grand opening and its first customers.

When is SCHEELS Meridian going to open?

SCHEELS Meridian is having its grand opening celebration on Saturday, April 6, 2024. Starting at 7:00 am, they'll have a celebration just outside the store with food trucks, live entertainment, and free giveaways including gift cards ranging from $25 up to $1000. The doors will open for the day at 9:30 am.
