Jerome County Hires Architects for New Jail

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) An update now on Jerome County's new jail. Jerome County Commissioners approved the final plans. LCA Architects of Ketchum signed a 352-thousand dollar contract with Jerome County. The jail will be located at East Avenue T and 100 East, next to Idaho Milk Products. It will be a 132 bed facility with potential for future expansion. Construction on the new jail is expected to begin by the end of summer.
