For many of us, coffee is what gets us moving in the morning.

I've been drinking coffee for 30 years. On an average day, I'll have two cups, and I don't drink it after 10 A.M. Other coffee drinkers I know pound the stuff all afternoon.

A few years ago, I started experimenting with decaffeinated coffee. I switch from regular to decaf off and on as a way to not get my blood pressure up from too much caffeine; old person problems...ya know.

I don't tend to get too adventurous when it comes to my coffee. When the holidays come around, I will try some different themed blends, but that's about it.

I recently read a feature by the Black Cab Coffee Company titled ' 5 Unusual Coffee Drinks You Won't Believe Exist'. These are all blends of ingredients that can be found and ordered on Amazon.

Kopi Luwak- This is an unusual blend (to say the least) that is popular in Indonesia. It's made from a combination of coffee beans and cherries that are digested by wild cats and pooped out. It's described as 'earthy'. Yea, no s$#@!

The mixture is dried and roasted, and two-pound bags of this 'delicacy' can be purchased online for about $600.

Butter Coffee (bulletproof coffee) - Popular in Southeast Asia, this process involves adding butter to coconut oil and warming it. The drink was designed for those on a ketogenetic diet.

Mushroom Coffee - This is exactly what it sounds like. Common mushrooms such as Lion's Mane and Chaga are added to normal coffee.

Espresso & tonic - To make this beverage, ice is added to a cup with tonic water. Then, a double-espresso is poured in. Lemon, lime, and rosemary are optional.

Rose petal & beetroot latte - A combination of beetroot powder, an edible rose petal, and vanilla syrup make up this pink-colored beverage.
