A brand new film release available for streaming tells the story of a man who assembled one of the first large-scale white supremacy groups in Northern Idaho in the early eighties. The movie was filmed over the Canadian border, northeast of the Idaho panhandle city in which the Aryan leader began a movement that ended in a bloodbath.

One of the better movies I've watched in a long time just came out on PLEX and Amazon Prime and stars popular actor Jude Law. I sat through it with my wife Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Critics often use the word "gripping" when describing films, but this one truly was.

The Order was tied to several violent outbursts including the murder of Denver radio personality Alan Berg in 1984.

One of the first things I noticed right off the bat was that Jude Law was speaking in an American accent, which I'd never heard him do before. I'm used to seeing him in his English element in films like The Holiday, Sherlock Holmes and Fantastic Beasts. Law also stars in the new science fiction spinoff Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

The 52-year-old, England-born actor plays Detective Terry Husk, a north Idaho law enforcement officer who learns about the rise of the White Supremacy group known as The Order. The group was tied to a series of bank robberies in the Pacific Northwest in 1983 and 1984, according to IMDb. The movie was filmed 570 miles northeast of Sandpoint, Idaho, in Calgary.

Robert Jay Mathews, who formed the violent group, is played by actor Nicholas Hoult. The Order was tied to several violent outbursts including the murder of Denver radio personality Alan Berg in 1984. Mathews died in a house fire in Washington State after a standoff with police the same year.
