Dead Baby Left In Bag In Twin Falls ID 10 Yrs Ago Still Nameless
Many southern Idaho residents might remember a shocking story that emerged as the city prepared to usher in 2016. A newborn baby was discovered on the side of the road in a bag by a Twin Falls police officer on December 31, 2015, and now, more than a decade later, we still have no legal name and no idea who the biological parents are.
At the time, the city was more than equipped to handle an unwanted baby through the proper channels, so why the infant was discarded in the manner it was may always remain a mystery. The public has no knowledge as to whether or not it was the result of a stillbirth, or if it was a forced or accidental death following delivery.

Shortly after the baby was discovered, the infant female was nicknamed 'Angel Rose,' according to Idaho News 2. The community came together, and a funeral was carried out for the baby in January 2016, according to Idaho News 6.
After More Than A Decade, Twin Falls Police Still Don't Have Answers In The 'Angel Rose' Case
In the United States, it's estimated that as many as 7,000 kids are abandoned annually, according to statistics provided by A Safe Haven For Newborns.
