Idaho isn’t known for pizza unless you count the pizzas where they put sliced potatoes on them. That doesn’t mean we don’t have great pizza options in the Gem State, but we also have some poor choices.

In fact, the worst pizza chain in the entire United States has one restaurant location in Idaho.

It is pretty hard to mess up pizza. You only have 3 essentials: crust, sauce, and cheese. The rest (toppings) is extra. But with those three simple items, a lot can go wrong. A gummy crust or a sauce that’s too sweet and cheese that doesn’t melt right will ruin a pie. One pizza chain does all the wrong just right, according to a list from 24/7 Wall St.

The top 5 worst pizza chains include Domino’s, Papa Murphy’s, Little Caesars, and CiCi’s (no locations in Idaho) in that order. The top spot, or bottom depending on how you want to look at it, goes to the top choice for children and parties - Chuck E. Cheese.

The only Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Idaho is in Boise and I know people who have traveled from Twin Falls to go there. But, most people go there for the party and it just happens that they serve pizza there too.
