19 Year Old Killed in Semi Truck Rollover in Twin Falls
Idaho State Police are reporting that a Twin Falls teen was killed Monday morning in a semi-truck rollover accident. Two others were injured in the crash including the driver of the semi-truck and a passenger.
19-Year-Old Killed in Semi Truck Rollover in Twin Falls: 2 Others Injured
The deadly crash happened on Monday, September 30th just before 8:50 in the morning. The single-vehicle accident was a semi-truck rollover at N 2800 E and E 3200 N in Twin Falls County. The intersection is straight south of the Magic Valley Regional Airport near the Blackhawk Equestrian riding school.
According to the police report, all occupants of the truck were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash:
A 47-year-old male from Twin Falls was driving a 2017 Kenworth semi traveling westbound on E 3200 N. He drove off the right shoulder and overcorrected, where the vehicle rolled and came to a rest in a field on its top.
The vehicle had two passengers, a 19-year-old male from Twin Falls who succumbed to his injuries on scene and a 20-year-old male from Twin Falls who was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital. The driver was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The road was blocked for around 4 hours and ISP continues to investigate the accident.
