Names of the 10 People Indicted on Federal Drug Violations in Idaho
A press conference was held in Jerome, Idaho on Wednesday morning where names and charges were revealed against 10 individuals from Idaho. All of the individuals have been charged with federal drug violations.
The charges, if convicted, carry a mandatory minimum jail sentence.
10 From Twin Falls, Jerome, and Shoshone Charged in Idaho with Federal Drug Violations
In a story last week, we shared the names of 5 people who had been charged and sentenced to jail time for drug related crimes. None of their names appear on the list released today by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Additionally, 10 others have been charged, but weren’t named in the press release, in state prosecutions for drug violations.
Names of the 10 People Charged in Idaho Drug Ring
The 10 people indicted are from Twin Falls, Jerome, and Shoshone. From the press release, here are the names and crimes of the individuals:
- Oscar Alejandro Perez-Gomez, 32, of Jerome, was indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, five counts of distribution of methamphetamine, and one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
- Patrick Delacruz, 40, of Jerome, was indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine;
Leonardo Espinoza-Romero, 31, of Jerome, was indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine - Daniel D. Thomas, 47, of Jerome, was indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine
- Artemio Morgan Hurtado, Jr., 34, of Shoshone, was indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and the use of a communication facility to commit or facilitate a felony
- Luis Enrique Gonzalez, 40, of Jerome, was indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, distribution of methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
- Jesus Arturo Torres-Herrera, 36, of Twin Falls, was indicted on one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
- Raquel May, 28, of Twin Falls was indicted on one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
- Robert Troglia, 52, of Jerome, was indicted on one count of distribution of methamphetamine
- Liliana Morales-Caliz, 34, of Jerome, was indicted for four counts of distribution of methamphetamine
Drug Dealers in Idaho Got Meth From California and Arizona
During the investigations, law enforcement seized more than 30 pounds of meth from the individuals. Investigators believe those charged travelled to Arizona and California to get drugs which they brought back to Idaho for distribution.
The individuals named in today’s press conference were mainly charged with meth related crimes while the individuals named last week were fentanyl related crimes.

The press release reminds residents that a charge or an indictment does not mean the individual is guilty until proven to be in court.
