WATCH: A Famous Actress Got Stuck at this Irritating Twin Falls Train Crossing
Even if some people can’t point to Idaho on a map, our state is becoming more well-known thanks to celebrities who were born here or who call the Gem State home now. But amid the celebrities with vacation homes in Sun Valley and the endless potato jokes, Idaho has also had a few stories that weren’t good publicity. The recent murders of 4 students in Northern Idaho have been covered by national news sources. It isn’t all sunshine and roses in Idaho.
Even small things aggravate us on the daily. Especially the train crossing in Twin Falls by the Depot Grill where you always seem to get stuck for what feels like an hour when you are in a hurry. But it isn’t just us regular people getting trapped by the train, even famous people feel the helplessness of having nowhere to go when the train rolls by.
Mad Men Star Gets Stuck in Twin Falls at Train Crossing
A video from a while back shows one of our favorite Twin Falls celebrities sitting by the tracks as she waits for the train to go by. Christina Hendricks posted the video on her Instagram page with the caption: My home town. #twinfallsidaho
The video isn’t new, it was actually posted on September 9th, 2021 - but we’ll post something any time we hear about or see Christina Hendricks in town. Hopefully, she comes back soon.
Hendricks was born in Knoxville, Tennessee but grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho. IMDB states that in her teens she moved from Twin Falls to Virginia, but at least in her Instagram Reel she still calls Twin Falls home.
