What did the weather look like where you were at, on Friday night?
It seems that most made the best of the situation, but unfortunately for many, property damage and flooding became a reality of the storm.
By Friday night once the storm had passed, the City of Nampa released the following statement:
Thank you to the many City of Nampa employees who have been out since 9pm—and a second crew who came in to take over around 6am. We’ve already pulled 228,000 gallons off the roadway and there is a lot of work to be done.
Now, days later, the City of Nampa has shared that over 530,000 gallons of water were managed by street crews. Simply unbelievable.
We're eternally grateful for local officials that responded to emergencies, clean ups, and more during this really unique weather situation in Nampa, and elsewhere in the Treasure Valley.
