Idaho’s Brad Little Says He’s Not Done Yet; Announces Re-Election Campaign
It seems that politics is always in the air here in Idaho--but it is especially the case this week as Governor Brad Little has announced he'll be running for re-election in 2026, seeking a third term as the highest ranking official in the State of Idaho.
Little, who is an Idahoan through and through, has often times been considered a popular guy--just see the photo above--he was a champ during that Ice Bucket Challenge 'era' that we all went through some years ago.
Since then, however, it has become more and more 'toxic' within the Republican Party here in Idaho--may 'new' Republicans say that Little and some of he legacy folks 'aren't conservative enough', calling them 'RINOs', meaning 'Republican In Name Only'.
Expect Little to have inner-party contenders during the primary.

The campaign featured a peculiar angle--waving a chainsaw around to imply he's ready to 'cut'...
While the message was received and Brad Little ultimately won his bid for re-election, plenty of folks thought that the commercial was a bit strange--especially since he didn't wear any protective eye gear. Maybe he cut those, too?
In a statement released this week by the Governor himself, he touches on successes in Idaho that he feels have taken place, along with touting endorsements from Donald Trump.
Together, we've made Idaho the most prosperous state in the nation while fiercely defending our enduring core values — faith, family, and freedom. We delivered historic tax relief and made record investments in schools, public safety, and infrastructure to protect our exceptional quality of life. And we're not slowing down — Idaho will continue leading the nation in cutting red tape and expanding freedom.
Little then continued:
I am especially grateful for the endorsement of President Donald Trump, and I appreciate his support for the commonsense values we are advancing here in Idaho.
While Trump has indeed endorsed Little on policies via X (Twitter) in the past, he has not yet endorsed his re-election campaign since announcing this week.
