Look: Big Changes For Trader Joe’s Locations In Idaho
I don't know if you know this, but people LOVE Trader Joe's. I'm one of the cult-like followers, and if there's any chance that I get to go to TJ's, I'm there. It's also been one heck of a year for them. Some would say Trader Joe's has had some major changes in 20204, and what do those changes look like? Well, Eat This Not That highlighted five major changes underway at Trader Joe's.
New products? Yup, there's been a lot of those this year. This year alone, the retailer introduced a range of exciting items, including Japanese Soufflé Cheesecakes and Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cakes, and the Mini Canva Tote Bags. A big hit was the Mini Totes, the small bags that quickly became a viral sensation, selling out rapidly and causing long lines.
They've been expanding like crazy this year! Did you know they just opened a brand new store in Coeur d'Alene earlier this month? That is their 3rd location in Idaho, with one in Boise, Meridian, and now Coeur d'Alene. We could use one more in the Treasure Valley.
If you frequent Trader Joe's, did you notice the price of Bananas? For the first time in two decades, they raised the price of Bananas from 19 to 23 cents. I repeat, the first time in two decades. That's incredible!
They even returned some fan-favorite discounted items like the Organic Maple Butter and Synergistically Seasoned Popcorn. Then there's the popularity of Trader Joe's, which continues to grow in 2024, as seen in increased customer visits. Reports show that Trader Joe's saw significant growth in customer traffic, outperforming the grocery industry.
