Latest TikTok Challenge Is Bringing More Crime To Idaho

Social media has been around for some time now and it's crazy to think that the most ridiculous thing happening back then, was what controversial opinion someone posted on a "bulletin" or what profile music they chose to spite their ex.

Now, we have "challenges" happening all the time and the latest challenge involves teens putting not just their freedom at risk, but their lives.

Star Police issue a stark warning to TikTokers

TikTok - you either love it or hate it but the general consensus is that these TikTok challenges are a little ridiculous. Sure, some of them can be fun AND ridiculous but the latest challenge teens are partaking in has them risking it all for "Likes."

Star Police shared on Facebook that they busted a 15-year-old boy taking part in what's being described as the "door-kicking challenge."

The name kind of describes what it is already, but it's essentially the much less innocent version of ding-dong ditching. As a matter of fact, it's so aggressive that police in Star charged the 15-year-old with disturbing the peace.

"Mule-kicking front doors and running away is the latest version of the 'ding-dong-dash' prank and has been circulating on TikTok since last summer," Star police wrote.

"That type of prank may seem harmless, but it’s not. It can be scary and anger-inducing for homeowners – and we take it seriously."

We think it's safe to say that most people in Idaho wouldn't be okay with someone repeatedly kicking their door, especially with a lot of force. A lot of people might mistake that for a burglary attempt and take matters into their own hands -- or firearms.
