Jelly Roll topped off a huge night as he performed his latest single "Halfway to Hell" at the CMT Music Awards on Sunday (April 7).

Not only did he have the honor of closing the show, the performance came after he swept the categories he was nominated in.

The country singer had already pocketed wins for CMT Performance of the Year and Male Video of the Year. He also won the biggest award of the night, Video of the Year.

In fact, he was backstage preparing for his performance right as his named was called!

It was just the second time Jelly Roll has entertained the CMT Music Awards audience — he sang "Need a Favor" in 2023 and scooped up three trophies along the way.

What Awards Was Jelly Roll Up for at the CMT Music Awards?

This year, Jelly Roll found himself in a five-way tie for the most nominations alongside Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Kelsea Ballerini and Megan Moroney.

The "Son of a Sinner" singer was up for Performance of the Year for his CMT Music Awards performance from last year, and Male Video of the Year for his "Need a Favor" music video, which also earned him a nod for the biggest award of the night, Video of the Year.

What Was Jelly Roll's First Country Music Award?

The CMT Music Awards hold a special place in Jelly Roll's heart, since this is the first country awards show where he won a trophy since merging into the genre in 2022. He won for Digital-First Performance and received the news while on the red carpet before the show began. He ended up going three-for-three with his nods that night, as well.
