VIDEO: Idaho Delivery Man Seen Slamming Dog To Ground

A north Idaho family is outraged and has been saddled with a hefty veterinary bill after a delivery driver was caught on their doorbell camera picking their dog up by the throat at slamming it to the ground. The family's Ring camera recorded the entire incident, which left the dog with multiple injuries including broken bones.

Rathdrum dog owners were stunned when they watched the playback of a doorbell camera video, shared below, and saw a delivery driver injure their dog by throwing it after the two got into a confrontation, according to information shared by KTVB.

Workers in this field are often confronted by dogs while following through with package delivery. There were more than 6,000 cases of dogs attacking delivery drivers in 2025 nationwide, according to the United States Postal Service.

Dogs acting aggressively toward delivery staffers is a daily problem that thousands of workers endure, so many feel the need to defend themselves in such matters.

According to information provided by KREM, the animal suffered a broken ankle, as well as other injuries. The dog can be seen in the footage behaving in a manner many would find aggressive.

The identity of the delivery driver has not been made public to date. No charges have been filed in the matter.
