
Idaho Child Hit While Trying to Catch School Bus
PAYETTE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say a 13-year-old southwest Idaho boy is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle as he ran to catch a school bus.
The Argus Observer reports (http://bit.ly/1zdmHVv) that the Payette Middle School student was crossing U.S. Highway 95 on Thursday morning when he was struck by a northbound pickup.
Payette Police Chief Mark Clark says the boy was flown to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
Names haven't been released.
