Hit and Run Driver Damages 11 Cars, Drags Truck Through Boise Parking Garage

What in the world did I just watch?! 

That was my exact reaction when I saw the video of an incident that took place inside the BoDo Parking garage on Friday night. In the video (which we'll post below, but there is some inappropriate language in it) you can see a yellow mustang dragging a black truck down the ramps of the parking garage.

According to Idaho News, the mustang damaged a total of 11 cars, including the truck, during the parking garage incident. Upon leaving the garage, the driver of the mustang continued to toward West Eastover Terrace leaving quite a bit of damage along the way. Pictures outside of the parking garage show a damaged light pole and stop sign near the Boise Depot.

Boise Police have identified Damariea Dawkins as a person of interest and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

If I hadn't seen the video with my own eyes, I would never have believed that this was could happen in a parking garage. As someone who can't parallel park, it freaks me out a little because I usually use one of two parking garages downtown: Capitol Terrace and this very garage in BoDo.

I showed the video to almost everyone I saw on Saturday afternoon. It's insane.
