Hallie Wucinich Named Twin Falls Hometown Hero For December
Hallie Wucinich has been named the Hometown Hero for December. The Hometown Hero Award is brought to you by the Duran Group Powered by REMax Legacy. Every single month three nominees have their stories told and one person gets a little thank you.
Hallie Wucinich saved her dad's life after he fell 75 feet in the Snake River Canyon. Hallie climbed out of the canyon, called first responders, and led them to where her dad had fallen. They were able to save his life because of her heroism and bravery. The nominator said because of Hallie her dad is still alive.
Her dad did end up losing a foot and is currently in a wheelchair doing his best to recover. You could tell the family is very close and he is grateful. As Jared said, it's better than not being here. Big congratulations again, and huge thank you to Hallie for doing something not many 12 year olds could do.
If you want to nominate someone for the Duran Group powered by RE/Max Legacy's Hometown Hero Award you can submit them here. The hope is to get some acknowledgment from the community to those special people who make things a little easier, and a little brighter. It can be people who mow lawn or shovel snow, someone who puts together charity events or donates their time to special causes. It could be a family member who helps out more than is expected.
