One person has been displaced after an early morning fire on Thursday, October 10, near Burley.

According to the Burley Fire Department the one occupant of a house on 1200 West and 185 South was able to get out of the structure. Fire crews, along with the Cassia County Sheriff's Office and medics, responded at around 4:12 a.m. with help from the Rock Creek Fire Protection District.

Several engines and a couple water tankers worked to put out what appeared to be a fully engulfed home. The resident is being assisted by the Burley firefighters Burnout Fund.
