The Twin Falls Senior Center is asking for assistance with their meals on wheels program.

The center is seeking drivers to help get food delivered to home bound seniors throughout the area of Twin Falls. According to Executive Director Jeanette Roe, "more than forty-eight-hundred meals are delivered each month to those in need." Right now the center is desperate for volunteer drivers.

Drivers must be 18 years of age, possess a valid license and have proof of insurance. Scheduling is based on the driver's availability, in that volunteers can chose what days they want to drive and for how many hours. Drivers will receive 53.5 cents a mile reimbursement for fuel, according to the center's website.

Please contact the Twin Falls Senior Center at 208-734-5084 for more information or to volunteer to be a driver. Again, volunteers are able to set their own schedules based on availability. Let's make sure none of our area home bound seniors go hungry.
