The Twin Falls School District (TFSD) has announced significant enhancements to its Summer Meal Program, aiming to provide nutritional support to children throughout the summer months. For the first time, breakfast will be available at select locations, in addition to the existing lunch and afternoon snack services.

Key Changes for Summer 2024:

Breakfast Now Available

TFSD has introduced breakfast services at several locations. This addition ensures that children have access to meals from the beginning of the day, which can significantly benefit their overall health and well-being.

Afternoon Snacks Added

In another effort to provide consistent nutrition, afternoon snacks will be available at some locations.

Understanding Meal Locations: Congregate vs. Noncongregate

TFSD offers two types of meal distribution sites: congregate and noncongregate. It's important for parents and guardians to understand the differences to make the best use of these services.

At congregate sites, meals must be eaten on-site. Children cannot take food off the premises. At noncongregate sites, children can pick up their meals and are not required to eat them on-site.
