School Delays and Cancellations

Kimberly School District has announced that they are canceling middle school classes due to illness.

We are getting recent reports that schools around the Magic Valley are getting hit hard with illness and some schools are having to close. Currently Camas County has made the announcement that they will not be returning to school to help people get better.

Southern Idaho School Closures and Delays for Thursday, January 6, 2022

As Southern Idaho continues to receive more snow, school districts are cancelling or delaying classes due to poor driving conidtions.

After an evening and overnight of snow combined with high winds, several school districts have canceled school for Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

School districts around the Magic Valley have been canceling classes for Monday, January 3rd due to poor road and travel conditions. So far these schools have canceled classes:

School closures announced for February 16th, 2021.

On January 28th, these schools have announced that classes have been cancelled due to snow.

The Twin Falls School District has cancelled school for Friday August 21, 2020 due to poor air quality levels.

The Buhl School District has canceled school for the day.

Some school districts and other agencies throughout Southern Idaho are canceling classes or closing early for Spring Break as a coronavirus precaution.

This closure will affect families, childcare, and student meals. The district is working on a possible food service for the kids.
