Blake Shelton’s ‘Red River Blue’ Is Number One on Billboard Albums Chart
Blake Shelton may be having the best year ever.
According to Taste of Country, the ‘Voice’ coach and newlywed’s new CD, ‘Red River Blue,’ topped this week’s Billboard 200 Albums chart, with over 116,000 copies sold.
That was more than enough to beat out Incubus, whose CD, ‘If Not Now, When?’, pulled in 79,500 copies, and money-maker Adele, whose ’21′ sold an additional 76,700 copies.
Last week’s chart-topper, Beyonce’s ’4,’ fell to number five, behind ‘Neon,’ by Chris Young.
