Twin Falls- Fire officials want people to have fun this weekend, but they also want Memorial Day goers to be fire safe. The Bureau of Land Management want people to be cautious as the fire season gets closer. Kyli Gough, with B-L-M says should be mindful when they are out driving. BLM offers some tips for this weekend. Don’t drive or park on dry grass or vegetating. Enjoy campfires in designated areas only.  In addition there are certain state restrictions in place from now until October. You cannot discharge, use or have fireworks on public lands. Also you cant discharge a firearm or burn tires, wires, plastic or other hazardous material.
