The body of a missing Utah State University student has been found.

The university said in a statement on Thursday morning that the body of Baxter Franklin King, 19, was found Wednesday night in Logan Canyon. No foul play is suspected.

King was last seen on Monday, Oct. 14, and last texted another individual on Thursday, Oct. 17, according to the university. School officials expressed appreciation to the many who people took to social media to spread the message of his disappearance and those who went afield to look for him.

“Our thoughts are with his family, and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time,” reads a statement. “We are heartbroken to lose a member of our Aggie family.”

(KLIX) – Authorities are seeking information about a missing person last seen earlier this month in northern Utah.

Baxter Franklin King, 19, was last seen on Monday, Oct. 14, and last texted with another individual on Oct. 17, according to the Utah State University Police Department.

King is a student at the university.

Those close to the student believe it’s unusual for him to be out of contact for so long, police said in a news release. And King, who is described as a reliable worker, has not contacted his job.

King, who wears glasses, is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 200 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He drives a blue 2005 Chevrolet Aveo with a Utah license plate number 545NYM.
