According to a survey from Daily Mail, if your adult children move back home after college, don't expect to get rid of them anytime soon.      The average age a kid needs to move back home is 23 . . . which is a year or two after they finish college.  But then they stay for an average of THREE years . . . until they're 26.

There are some students graduating college with pretty nontraditional degrees, especially those from individualized study programs, but the latest online offering from The University of Edinburgh is a little bit out-of-this-world.

I guess we feel like giving someone $100 to Applebee's will soften the blow of $200,000 in student loan debt? According to Time and the National Retail Federation, Americans will spend more than $4.7 BILLION on graduation gifts this month and next month.

It's official, your children are never going to survive on their own. A job placement company from Business Insider called the Adecco Group released a survey on recent college graduates, and found that more than half still depend on their parents to help pay living expenses . . . 32% rely on their parents to pay their cell phone bill.

Do you think sending your kids to college means that they go away, have some fun, study, live in a dorm and graduate four years later?  Not so much.  A nonprofit group called Complete College America just compliled some stats that say the vast majority of college students are part-time and taking around eight years to complete a four-year degree.

·       The CSI Secular Student Alliance will show the documentary ‘Friends of God’ at 6 p.m. next Tuesday in the Fine Arts Recital Hall. This movie is about the evangelical movement that has become such a powerful force in American politics in recent years. Afterward, the audience will discuss the film. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.

Graduation season is all around us. A lot of our friends and family are graduating from both High School and College. We definitely want to tell all of the graduates we know that we are proud of them by getting them a nice card and a gift, but what do you get a graduate?

CSI Easter Egg Hunt. This starts at 5 p.m. today (Friday) on the lawn north of the Student Union building. It’s for kids up to age 12. After the egg hunt, there’ll be activity booths for the kids, including face painting and photos with the Easter Bunny...

Turns out, the way your precious little angel handles that balance is the BEST way to figure out how their grades are going to turn out.  In a new study at George Mason University, a researcher found that the two best ways to predict a college student's GPA are the amount of time they spend studying . . . and the amount of time they spend drinking.

“Ten Little Indians,” the Agatha Christie murder mystery,  is being presented by the CSI Theater Department now through March 5th. This is the story of 10 people who are lured to an island where it’s revealed to them that they may each be a murderer. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students.  Each Wednesday through Saturday night at 7:30.

If you want your kid to go to an exclusive college, don't waste your time with Harvard, Yale or Stanford.  Those are SAFETY SCHOOLS compared to the college we're talking about today. And that school is . . . McDonald's Hamburger University in China.
